Nice Day is a New Orleans-based boutique experiential design and planning company specializing in weddings, corporate events and brand activations.
Hily and Katie at Nice Day approached me for help with their social media, Instagram specifically. They didn’t have a clear posting strategy, and some of their best portfolio pieces were sitting in their archives collecting dust. We worked together to come up with a social strategy to showcase their coolest event designs with captions that spoke to their brand’s creative, funny and bold energy. After we established a more cohesive social media presence, I consulted with the team on their customer journey, following the customer from discovering them on Instagram through browsing their website all the way to booking their services. We updated their website copy for conciseness, including clarifying their services copy and adding more “call to action” buttons across the site. I created email templates for new inquiries that anyone on the team could copy and paste to get the ball rolling. I also implemented booking software to further streamline and free up more of their billable hours for actual client work. We spoke a lot about creating and maintaining professional boundaries in the events industry, and how to craft clear contracts to set expectations early on and improve client relations. Last, we developed onboarding and off boarding processes to increase client retention over time.
